Lovegobuy Shipping Restrictions: What to Check Before Buying

Confirm that the exact item can travel on the proposed service before you buy it. A product listing, a warehouse receipt and a carrier's acceptance answer different questions.

AT A GLANCE

Key points

  • Identify the complete item, including batteries, liquids and accessories, before asking about shipping.
  • Check the selected service and destination; warehouse acceptance does not establish international transport eligibility.
  • Keep the written answer with the item details and check again if the contents, route or destination change.

Before buying an item through Lovegobuy, identify what you want to send and where it will go. A seller may offer the item for domestic delivery while your intended international service has different acceptance conditions.

Use this guide when deciding whether the item is eligible for transport. For the cost of an eligible parcel, continue to the separate volumetric-weight guide.

Describe the complete item

Start with the selected listing and option, then check what is actually included. A description such as “accessory” may hide a battery, liquid refill or separate component that changes the question you need to ask.

Use this editorial worksheet before requesting a route:

Detail What to record
Item and option Product link, selected version and quantity
Contents Materials, included parts and the item’s intended use
Batteries Whether present, installed or separate; available manufacturer information
Liquids or sprays Product type, container and available composition information
Destination Country and delivery area
Proposed service Full route name and the date of the acceptance reply

Mark an unknown detail as unresolved. Do not replace a missing specification with an assumption based on the product photo.

Separate prohibited goods from goods needing approval

DHL Express’s US guidance distinguishes goods it will not carry from restricted goods requiring advance approval. Its examples needing review include lithium batteries, perfumes and aerosols; it also lists counterfeit goods that infringe intellectual property rights as prohibited.

These are DHL Express examples. They do not identify the carrier behind a Lovegobuy route or authorize another service to carry the same item. A brand name or logo in a directory image does not establish authenticity.

Ask about the exact contents and destination. Acceptance can depend on the service and countries involved, rather than a general description such as “clothing line” or “electronics line.”

Give battery information to the carrier

IATA’s shipping FAQ distinguishes lithium batteries sent by themselves from batteries contained in equipment, and explains that postal carriage has its own conditions. It does not treat a power bank as an ordinary installed device battery.

If batteries are present, provide their configuration and the manufacturer’s available specifications. Let the agent and transport provider confirm the applicable classification, documents and packaging. Removing a battery, changing the box or choosing another service is not, by itself, proof that the shipment is accepted.

Ask before committing to the purchase

Send the listing and contents together so the reply can address the actual item. This is an editorial request example:

I plan to buy [item and selected option], quantity [number], for delivery to [country and area]. It includes [battery, liquid or other relevant contents]. Can you confirm an available service for these exact goods, any approval or documents needed, and where I can read its acceptance conditions?

Keep the answer with its date. If you later add another item, change the destination or select another route, ask whether the earlier confirmation still applies to the revised parcel.

Keep eligibility and paperwork connected

Before submitting the parcel, compare the actual contents with the description used in the acceptance request. Resolve differences with support rather than removing them from the description.

The customs-documents checklist explains how to organize item details and purchase records. It complements the acceptance check: having paperwork ready does not establish that a service will carry the goods.

Common questions

Does a product appearing in the spreadsheet mean it can be sent to my country?

A directory record identifies a listing. It does not establish acceptance by a carrier, compliance with destination requirements or availability of a particular Lovegobuy route.

Is restricted the same as prohibited?

In the cited DHL Express guidance, prohibited goods are not accepted, while restricted goods require review and approval. Use the definitions and conditions of the actual service proposed for your parcel.

Can I use airline hand-baggage rules to decide whether a parcel is allowed?

Passenger baggage and goods sent as cargo or post are different transport situations. Ask for the shipping requirements of the service carrying the parcel rather than applying a travel allowance.
